The Online Resource for Piano Ensemble Music

About

Welcome to fourhandsplus.com, a website dedicated to music for piano duet, piano duo, piano six hands and other ensembles involving pianos! We will be commissioning new works and arrangements from leading composers, as well as making long out-of-print piano ensemble music (both original pieces and arrangements) available again. We feel it's time to bring this repertoire back into the public domain, as well as introducing exciting new material to the world's piano ensemble performers.

We are proud to present two new and exciting publications. First is Two at a Time, a set of duet anthologies for beginner and intermediate players. There will be five books available in this graded series. The pieces have been selected and edited by Graeme Humphrey, a leading UK piano teacher who has always used duets as part of his teaching regime.

The second publication is Three at a Time,  a series of graded books for six hands at one piano.

We are also very pleased to make available arrangements of a number of Haydn's string quartets, newly arranged for piano duet by Professor Robin Holloway, another long-time duet enthusiast. Professor Holloway has arranged around 30 of Haydn's quartets, only omitting the 15 available from Peters Edition and some of the works of Haydn's youth.

The Two at a Time, Three at a Time and Haydn/Holloway editions are supplied wiro bound, printed on 90gsm white cartridge, with covers on 220gsm board making them both hard-wearing and long-lasting.

The people involved in fourhandsplus.com are:
